We are now seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager to join our award winning team based within our Qatar Office.



This critical role will be responsible for driving the growth of the infrastructure division and assisting in building KEO's market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and monitoring business relationships with clients and driving loyalty through excellent client service.
Paramount to success within this varied role will include:


* Leading the Business Development Team in:

Identifying and tracking work opportunities.

Undertaking early go/no go assessments with the senior leadership team.

Gathering intelligence from existing and potential clients to identify work opportunities early.

Supervising the Proposals Manager in planning and programming for bid preparation.

Supervising and supporting the Proposals Manager to deliver high quality bids / tender submissions.

Implementing strong liaison with the transportation / utilities and CAD delivery teams to ensure that financial submissions are properly costed and programmed to include known risks while driving competitive pricing.




* Identifying key clients and prepare client care plans for each.

* Identify key client managers to act as the single point of contact for existing and potential clients.

* Establishing fixed budgets for tender submissions in agreement with the Director of Infrastructure.

* Identifying areas of potential new services that could be offered to existing clients, and existing services that could be offered to new clients.

* Overseeing the transition from successful bids to project set up, to ensure full ownership is transferred from the Bid Manager to the Project Manager.

* Obtaining feedback for unsuccessful bids to capture and implement lessons learnt for future submissions.

* Representing KEO to new/potential clients and to be an ambassador for the Firm.





To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years' career experience partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent. A post graduate qualification in Project Management will be viewed favourably.



Bilingual communication skills in both English and Arabic are essential.

This critical role will be responsible for the implementation, oversight and direction of project controls systems, processes and procedures within the Infrastructure business in Qatar.
Paramount to success within this varied role will include:


* Maintaining and improving project controls to facilitate the efficient administration of projects and effective project monitoring, programming, resourcing and delivery.

Management of Project Control Team, specialists and administrative support functions.



*
Driving the implementation of Primavera P6 project resources management throughout the Infrastructure business in Qatar. Ensuring that basic competency is achieved by the Project Management and Bid Management teams in using P6 (through training, or recruitment).



*
Ensuring the data dictionary within P6 is accurately maintained for all staff within Qatar Infrastructure.



*
Using P6 resourcing to develop resource profiles for all staff within Qatar Infrastructure. Resource status reports to be prepared on a weekly basis for the purposes of informing the SLT, and on a monthly basis for the MD to report to Senior Management.



* Maintaining and improving the management of Quality Assurance / Quality and Environmental Management across all aspects of the delivery of projects, through overseeing the implementation and auditing of the company's Business Management System (BMS) that integrates the quality and environmental management systems for the Division.

* Ensuring the effective implementation of BIM (Building Information Modelling) design capability within the Infrastructure Division and supervising the BIM Manager.




To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years' career experience partnered with a Bachelor's Degree and a post graduate qualification in Project Management.

Senior Finance Manager

We are now seeking an exceptional Senior Finance Manager to join our award winning team based within our Kuwait Office.



This critical role will act as custodian of KEO's financial records, monitoring and reporting on measures of financial performance with the focus on driving continuous improvement. The role will also ensure that all financial functions operate to high standards of transactional efficiency and accuracy, adhering to financial policy and controls.
Paramount to success within this varied role will include;


* Manage the firm's financial and accounting functions inclusive of cash management, preparation of financial statements, job cost accounting, and contract administration.

* Responsibility for corporate level reporting and analysis, audits and accounting for tax, all aspects of maintenance of financial records, monthly close cycle inclusive of WIP tracking, revenue recognition.

* Producing relevant statutory accounting information in liaison with group requirements and coordinating audits with all offices.

* Accounting for tax in all areas of the business inclusive of consumption taxes (eg. VAT); develop and implement tax strategy for the region with the CFO.

* Maintain relationships and communication with clients and vendors related to financial matters; supervise Accounts Payable and perform A/P duties as necessary; supervise AR receipt accounting ensuring allocations and FX variations are complete and accurate.

* Monitor the firm's cash position on a daily and monthly basis, maintain internal controls and monitor and regulate the firm's purchases.

* Modify and implement MIS reporting systems as required.

* Ensure the existence of adequate control mechanisms for the accounting function through efficient and effective financial administrative procedures to satisfy financial legislation and guidelines and internal control requirements.

* Analyze existing work processes, procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies and service Monitor and review the effectiveness of various financial reporting internal controls, eg. General ledger reconciliations and other data integrity checks and initiate investigative and follow up action as required.

* Motivate and lead a team of diverse professional employees, driving engagement, increased organizational performance and achievement of team





To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision the successful applicant will bring a minimum of 5 years' career experience in an equivalent role partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Demonstrated application of contemporary financial and budget management, accounting standards and concepts in the commercial sector, ideally with audit background is required.

Candidates whom possess similar industry experience as well as knowledge working with banks regarding bonds, guarantees and cash management will be viewed favourably.

C-Quest, an allied practice of KEO, are now seeking an exceptional Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our award winning pre-contract team based within our Oman Office.



This critical role will be responsible for taking a lead role in the procurement of assigned contract packages. This will comprise of the development and implementation of procurement strategies, the management of pre-tender activities such as expressions of interest and prequalification processes.
Paramount to success within this varied role will include;




* Measurement of works from drawings including BIM and AutoCAD measurement techniques.

* Preparing draft correspondance to Consultants, Contractors and Authorities.

* Establishing and maintaining a robust data recording system.

* Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities.

* Preparing and agreeing monthly payment applications for all work packages and appropriate consultants payments.

* Monitoring and updating the project insurance logs to ensure their currency.

* Coordinating with the administration team on commercial aspects of the project to maintain the highest level of delivery.


Ability to analyze project variations and changes, prepare project reports, analyze information for adjustments to project budget as necessary to assure a successful project for the Client and the firm.




Ability to understand, identify and assess project risks.




Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communication.







To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years career experience with a Bachelor in Quantity Surveying and experience in costings in the Oman region.
