Head of Operations - Branded Multisite casual dining

Looking for an excpetional leader of Operations to join a fast paced, dynamic international hospitality brand. This role not only entails opertions but also has a key involvement in business development. 
This is a fantastic oportunity to join the business at a time of launching this brand new role. You will be responsible for all the operational aspects of 137 branded casual dining sites. 
You will be responsible to lead on the Abu Dhabi new store openings and development schedule working closely with the Abu Dhabi Acquisitions Manager
• You will be a Partner with the Property and Project teams to ensure that the outlet development schedule maintains pace in accordance with the forecasted opening program.
• You must be able to manage and develop the management team and line staff in line with the growth expectations of the business 
• Lead the food development strategy for the Abu Dhabi business 
• Lead the differentiation strategy for each stream of the Abu Dhabi business 
• Lead the Marketing and Human resources approaches for the Abu Dhabi business
• Lead and develop the key Abu Dhabi external landlord relationships e.g. Aldar, ADNOC, ADAC
• Perform other duties as requested by the Line Manager.
• Undertake key Operational and Strategic projects on behalf of General Manager and CCO
• Responsible for creating a world-class team, through the recruitment of exceptional staff from both local and international markets.
• You must be able to build, maintain a succession plan for a team of highly skilled managers, promoting from within wherever possible. 
• Ensure exceptional standards of product and service delivery that is consistent with customer expectations and brand standards.
• Report monthly and for the planning cycle for both sides of the business (in Abu Dhabi)
• 10 years operational level experience in a multi site hospitality or retail environment
• Experienced in growing and developing a brand though business development opportunities 
• Track record of identifying opportunities, managing the relationship and closing the opportunity 
• Excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
• Entrepreneurial approach with a sense of urgency
• Able to manage change, conflict resolutions and challenging upwards
• Mature professional who has gravitas and is able to influence and manage change within the business
• People management skills and familiar with performance management principles
• Willing to get involved in the day to day activities as well as deliver on the strategic priorities of the business

Desirable:
• Educated to a degree level
• Knowledge of MICROS or a similar F&B IT system
• Experience of working in a multicultural environment

A highly innovative and progressive multinational is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join their Regional HR Team in Dubai.

The role reports to the Regional HR Manager and will assist in providing HR operational and strategic support to the business across MENA. It is a very varied role and will have some focus on recruitment too. 

Responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring administration of policies and procedures 
• Handling all aspects of HR including, onboarding, rewards, training, employee performance and labour relations
• Managing employee lifecycle activities such as preparing contracts, promotions or pay changes and disciplinary actions
• Providing consultation on both operational and process issues which impact the business and driving suggested HR proposals 
• Coaching and developing managers on handling employee relations, performance management, goal setting and other key areas
• Ensuring that all related processes defined from global HR are effectively executed on time
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement of HR service delivery
• Assisting and acting as an Advocate on employee inquiries, concerns & requirements
• Supporting the company culture and employee engagement through activities/suggestions
• Assisting managers and employees in understanding policies, systems and procedures
• Supporting the review and development of HR policies and processes 
• Ensuring compliance with employment laws
• Working closely with hiring managers and HRBPs to develop effective recruitment strategies

To be considered for this role you MUST be an ARABIC speaker. You will have a degree and ideally an HR certification. You MUST have at least 6 years generalist HR experience, 3 in the region within a munltinational business and have a strong background in recruitment. Experience of working with a recruitment tracking system will be highly advantageous.

Technical Service Engineer - Saudi National

A multi-national company in the petro-chemical sector is seeking a Technical Service Engineer / Representative. 

The role requires you to work with and support Sales Representatives in executing service plans in customer accounts, completing agreed upon contractual services in those accounts and providing customers with problem solving support. You will also assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of both new applications in current customers. Duties will include:

• Providing routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance and continuous improvement plans.
• Assist Sales Representatives with plant surveys of prospective customers and with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts.
• Providing technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required.
• Engaging in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
• Sample testing, light maintenance, customer service, service report generation, chemical ordering, chemical inventory management, general labor activities.
• Actively support the company’s innovations and technology in the strategic accounts where you provide service support to other Sales Representatives.
We are looking for a SAUDI NATIONAL with a Chemical Engineering degree from a reputable University. You will have between 1 to 4 years of successful technical service or field sales support experience ideally within the water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience.

Chief Accountant

An exciting role has arisen for a Chief Accountant within a US manufacturing business in Dammam.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will provide accounting support for the Saudi business, including the optimization of assets and liabilities and minimizing risk exposure. You will provide professional finance and administrative support to operational management locally, and ensure efficient and timely financial reporting and payment of suppliers. Duties will include:

• Managing all accounting activities in line with local and corporate practice and policies
• Ensuring proper optimization of assets (fixed, current), liabilities, cash flows and risks
• Optimize the tax liabilities and protect the legal interests of the company
• Set up appropriate management control tools to monitor performance of Saudi Arabia and propose corrective actions where necessary
• Report on financial and qualitative expenses and trial balance to local management, regional and Corporate Finance management for Saudi activities and entities, for: Accounting statements (Profit& Loss and Trial Balance)
• Provide financial input on acquisitions, mergers, investments, divestments; licensing in/out agreements and other opportunities, gathering and modelling accounting data as appropriate
• Review Fixed assets register and accounting (acquisition, sales, depreciation) and performs regular inventories
• Receiving & controlling Bank and petty cash reconciliations
• Support decision-making process through provision of appropriate financial information and analysis
You will have at least 5 years’ experience ideally gained within a manufacturing business with experience of ERP systems. You must be able to understand and prepare a Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Trial Balance as well as days sales outstanding, reconciliations and fixed assets. You must hold a degree ideally in Accounting or Finance.

You MUST be a Saudi national to be considered for this role.

HR Generalist - 12 Month Contract - Saudi National

A multinational manufacturing business is seeking an HR Generalist on a 12 month contract basis to support its factory operation. 

The role will include handling Employee Relations, Recruitment, Performance Management, Policies and Procedures and Compensation and Benefits. You will be the first point of contact in HR, reporting to the Plant Manager in Saudi and the HR Manager in Dubai. You will work with line managers in supporting their recruitment requirements, providing a range of employee services and ensuring HR policies and procedures are adhered to. You will manage reporting to the HR Manager and ensure government relations requirements are met.

The company is going through a period of change and you will be supporting this new development, this is an excellent opportunity to gain some exposure within a large multinational.
You MUST be a Saudi National with a Degree and have at least three years HR experience. You will have good knowledge of labour laws and be able to work effectively on your own with a high level of accountability. You will ideally be available IMMEDIATELY or on a short notice period.
