We are now seeking an exceptional Assistant Resident Engineer to join our award winning team based within our Qatar Office.
Requirements
Paramount to success within this varied role will include; * Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to the project to achieve time, cost, quality and safety objectives. * Monitor and report on the production of information with respect to the discipline-related services submittal progress. * Review submitted shop drawings and material submittals (and the like) against the drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice. * Check and ensure co-ordination between discipline-related services works and all other disciplines. * Provide technical input and experience to resolve discipline-related engineering issues on the Project. * Monitor the Engineers and Inspectors performance to ensure that they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities. * Maintain open communication with the client and contractor's discipline engineers on project related issues. * Prepare project reports on progress of works, quality and technical conformance of the works, safety and other matters. * Attend technical and progress meetings with the contractor/client's representative. * Identify issues and risks that need to be brought to the attention of senior project management as necessary. To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 12 years' career experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Bilingual communication skills in both English and Arabic are essential. The Role
Dragon Recruiting UK is currently recruiting skilled staff for a company in UAE. The client is one of the largest manufacturer of edible products in UAE. DESCRIPTION Set and implement plans to achieve strategic objectives and targets for the assigned area. Collect and analyze relevant area’s information related to market prices and maintain competitiveness at all times, and conduct forecasting studies to capture area’s trends and needs. Implement marketing plans, actively participate in sales promotional campaigns and exhibitions, and travel within area of responsibility to attract new business and maintain existing customers. Respond to enquiries resulting from advertising, trade shows, and business trips. Implement pricing, promotions, and discounts policies, to ensure feasibility and profitability. Implement inventory and stock policies to ensure response to market demands, and a monitoring system to track sales and stock balances and movement for each distributor in the assigned area. Implement Sales processes and work instructions, including credit limits and collection to ensure efficiency and consistency in operation. Conduct internal meetings and follow the reporting mechanism to ensure area’s sales data and information are communicated and maintained for analysis and improvements. Follow up continually the achievement of the assigned area’s sales targets in reference to the set plans, and take all necessary actions to resolve issues and overcome obstacles. Establish, maintain, and expand customer base for the area.
