are currently on the lookout for an Indirect Procurement Manager who will
develop and implement indirect sourcing strategies, manage key supplier
relationships, negotiate and implement improvement category strategies to
reduce total cost of ownership.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure appropriate category management teams are in place
• Develop, validate and communicate innovative sourcing strategies for responsible spend categories in alignment with Strategic Sourcing process and Procurement Best Practices
• Perform the role of the Procurement Business Partner to ensure alignment of business and procurement strategies, report procurement performance to joint objectives, P2P compliance and early involvement in NPD
• Identify and drive cost reductions, supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements, process efficiencies, risk mitigation and standardization across Citigroup businesses.
• Analyze business processes and determine opportunities achieved through influencing supply and demand of services
• Lead cross-functional teams comprised of stakeholders from multiple business units in the development and execution of indirect sourcing strategies, Requests for Proposal, supplier selection, negotiation and contracting processes.
• Analyze supplier proposals, structure and negotiate supply agreements and manage supplier relations and performance.
• Establish strong supplier and business relationships.
• Maintain industry and subject matter expertise for designated indirect categories. Report on category trends and best practices driving best-in-class purchasing practices for designated categories.
• Establish reputation within Procurement organization and business units for designated categories. Develop and grow relationship with business unit leadership promoting and expanding Procurement’s influence.
• Coordinate all administrative requirements including approved supplier program, supplier diversity, contract management system, procure-to-pay system, technology related metrics and reporting.
• This position interacts with all levels of management, including senior management, at both Citigroup and at suppliers.
• Works closely with the EMEA Sourcing Category leads for indirect services to ensure that the region model is adopted and implemented where possible and appropriate in accordance with business needs.

This will include provision of organizational and functional support as well as services. This role will be based in Riyadh and the job holder will be reporting to the Regional Logistics Director. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and inter-personal skills, have previous experience in the retail and logistics, be highly analytical, resourceful, dynamic, and highly ambitious, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently to meet revenue and business objectives. The candidate will be responsible for managing up to 800 people and more than 30 warehouses.
Job Scope:
- To develop, modernize and transition the KSA Logistics operation to support significant planned growth
- To prepare yearly business plans & budgets for all logistics activities for KSA.
- To be responsible for the efficiency of all distribution centres in KSA.
- To continuously investigate and propose more efficient and cost saving ways of distributing products to stores.
- To ensure consistency of service delivery; agreeing process standards, ensuring with the management that all stores, staff and processes comply with high-end supply chain & logistics international standards
