Project Engineer - Environment and Waste

With over 2,500 multidisciplinary professionals and staff, we are an international professional consulting services firm.  We are now seeking an exceptional Project Engineer - Environment and Waste to join our award winning team based within our Dubai Office.  This critical role will be responsible for conducting environmental studies, statistical analysis as well as Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA's) over a wide range of infrastructure projects. 
Requirements 
Paramount to success within this varied role will include; • Ability to liaise with Government departments relevant to the environmental field. • Experience in proposal writing and obtaining sub-consultant quotations. • Experience in conducting environmental studies such as: Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA). • Experience in preparing Construction Environmental Plans (CEMPs) and EHS management systems.  • Experience in conducting field work on noise measurement and monitoring, supervising contractors for air monitoring and soil groundwater testing. • Assist in the preparation and arrangement of presentations and meetings with clients. • Site works and travel may be required as a part of this position.   To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 1-4 years of career experience partnered with a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental studies.  KEO's performance is founded upon integrity, results, innovation, safety and our people. The Role 
Assistant Manager – Assurance, Financial Accounting and Advisory Services     Within Ernst & Young's Assurance service line, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) professionals provide advisory services to a wide range of clients covering a very broad spectrum of services such as:    •GAAP Conversion (to IFRS, IPSAS) •Accounting and financial policies and procedures manual •Financial Statement Close Process (FSCP) •Consolidations support •Financial Reporting Design/Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting •Transaction accounting support/Purchase Price Allocations •Accounting processes support •Finance function transformation  •Corporate Treasury    Responsibilities   •Participating and/ or managing FAAS engagements •Collaborate with the partner, senior manager and client to determine a FAAS strategy that appropriately addresses risk and manages client expectations relating to deliverables •Ensure that the FAAS engagement team understands the client's needs and expectations and that the work product is client focused, clear, accurate and well-presented •Ensure work is delivered timely and in compliance with regulatory requirements •Deliver effective execution of the FAAS service delivery framework •Work with other service lines in providing an integrated service delivery •Monitor the FAAS engagement team's performance against the budget, and alter if necessary •Identify and communicate relevant trends, developments and key performance drivers relevant to the client •Consult with appropriate resources on complex accounting issues •Participate in sales of new FAAS work 
Requirements 
Qualifications    •A bachelor's degree •A master's degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major will be beneficial •CPA/CA/ACCA certification  •At least 6 years of experience working as an auditor for a public accounting firm  • Experienced in government entities, IPSAS and in chart of account under GFS •Management experience including leading teams, delegation, mentoring, performance reviews and counselling employees  •Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, in both English and Arabic  •Ability and comfort level in researching client inquires and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies  •Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary     Who we are  At EY, we're committed to helping you achieve your potential.
