Our client, an international law firm is urgently looking for a Legal Secretary to be based in Oman. For this role, the responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Welcomes guests and clients by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
• Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics; coordinating case preparation.
• Conserves attorneys time by reading, researching, reviewing, verifying, and routing correspondence, reports and legal documents; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications; organizing client conferences, and attorney meetings; scheduling couriers, court reporters, expert witnesses, and other special functions; coordinating preparation of charts, graphs, and other courtroom visuals; preparing expense reports.
• Maintains attorney calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, dispositions, and travel; recording and monitoring court appearance dates, pleadings, and filing requirements; monitoring evidence-gathering; anticipating changes in litigation or transaction preparation requirements.
• Represents attorney by communicating and obtaining information; following-up on delegated assignments; knowing when to act and when to refer matters to attorney.
• Generates revenues by documenting and inputting attorney billable time and reimbursable expenses; preparing invoices; tracking payments.
• Maintains client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential.
• Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions; maintaining transcripts; documenting and maintaining evidence.
• Maintains office supplies by checking stocks; placing and expediting orders; evaluating new products.
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
To be successful in this position, the candidate must have a bachelor degree with minimum of 3 years in PA/secretarial experience preferably gained in a law firm. Candidate must be willing to work from 8:00AM to 5:30PM, Sunday through Thursday. 

Due to the certain reason, visa of the candidate must be under the sponsorship of her relative (mother/father/brother/sister).

Our client, a well-known investment company in UAE is currently recruiting for an Investment Manager - UAE National. 

The Investment Manager will help facilitate the organization’s duty to protect, grow and further its investments in the Private Equity and Infrastructure asset classes. This position includes responsibilities for building and maintaining financial models, evaluating investment proposals, contributing in due diligence and supporting the Head of Private Equity & Infrastructure in the assessment, structuring and negotiation of Principal Investments.

Job Responsibilities

Investments – Funds and Co-Investments
• Prepare financial models and sensitivities, review external sources of due diligence on principal investments, and support the Private Equity Group in the assessment, structuring and negotiation of principal investments. 
• Perform financial analysis, coordinate with advisors on due diligences on principal investments and external managers for the private equity investment pools.
• Prepare investment proposal presentations and memorandums to be presented to the Investment Committee and Executive Committee 
• Support the Head of PE & Infra on the development of investment recommendations. 
• Monitor and analyse investments in the existing Portfolio.
• Maintain database of Fund peer groups within PE & Infra 

Monitoring of Investments/Management of Pools 
• Review periodical reports of private equity investment managers/general partners and principal investments. Analyze fund manager’s estimate of fair values of each holding and make valuation recommendations. 
• Monitor accounting and performance calculation for each investment to ensure proper determination of investment performance. 
• Work with Operations personnel to ensure appropriate accounting for investments performance, detect errors and assist Operations in receiving all information it requires from internal and external sources on a timely basis, including financial statements and fair value estimates. 
• Support in monitoring the allocation of distributions between income return and return of capital. Monitor receipt of financial statements from principal investment portfolio companies in compliance with agreements. 
• Support and document the process of investment purchase and sales tickets. 

Reporting 
• Provide and coordinate information and reporting requested by the Head of PE & Infra and by the IC.
• Support the operations of EIA’s Investment team, as requested. 
• Assist in the preparation of periodical reports to the Investment Committee.
• MBA is desirable
• Bachelors Degree required.
• Relevant professional certificates, e.g. CFA, an advantage.

Background and experience
• 5-7 years in the investment arena across sectors.
• Has worked for a reputable Investment bank, Private Equity fund manager, Asset Management firm or another Sovereign Wealth Fund
• Experience of both direct principal investments and indirect fund investments would be preferable
• Thorough understanding of valuation methods including the building of sophisticated financial models.
• Good experience of doing due diligence, structuring and legal documentation negotiation
• Good understanding of investing as a Limited Partner (LP) in various Funds 
• Multi-tasking. Ability to handle many priorities at the same time
• Fluent in English, fluency in Arabic an advantage.

Project Manager - Service Delivery

My client is one of the largest companies in GCC region is urgently seeking services of an experienced IT Project Manager with solid track record of managing projects related to IT service delivery and also having solid knowledge of Change Management processes. An ideal candidate must have experience of managing large scale Roll-out with multiple vendors in multiple countries and introducing and implementing Service Management / Service Introduction processes to ensure support of new services is not impacted, within prescribed budgets and in an organized and cost effective manner.

Responsibilities 

• Manage the project execution processes inclusive of Budgeting, identifying project scope, requirements and deliverables, developing project plans, identifying and appointing vendors, for procurement of appropriate systems and services etc. 
• Establish clear ownership of project tasks, provide required tools to the team members and ensure that the project meets the required quality and standards set by the Group. 
• Liaise with the vendors and service providers for quick resolution on project issues and regular monitoring of actual progress against the project plan keeping the stakeholders / senior management updated on progress.
• Ensure project management processes and performance standards are followed by internal and external project team members. 
• Maintain project-level risks, issues, actions and decisions (RAID), support effective mitigation, and escalate any high priority concerns in a timely fashion.
• Ensure proper vendor management with value addition to the organization eg. Cost negotiation, contractual commitments, SLA etc 
• Review and record external vendor performance details for future reference.
• Review current systems and procedures; identify the areas needing improvement and recommend corrective action as and when required.
• Provide periodic reports to IT Management / Project Stakeholders on the status of all ongoing projects.

Business Effectiveness/ Productivity 
• Periodic team reporting per IT SD Standards.

Experience 
• 8 – 10 years of Experience in IT industry in a multi user commercial environment, preferably in an IT operations and Project Management Role.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to drive the implementation through in timelines allocated, including change management/risk management, documentation, presentation skills, prior experience in IT rollouts and Service Introduction process implementations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain technical information clearly 
• Hands-on core It Infrastructure deployment experience with networks, small scale data centers etc
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills with a broad range of technical knowledge.
• Excellent IT skills including a thorough knowledge of current Office productivity suites and Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Significant experience of infrastructure, network and desktop support and administration.
