Client is the leaders in smart mobile phone
solutions based locally, is looking to recruit a Procurement Manager to manage
their spend for its operations based in Dubai.
The Procurement Manager is responsible for;
• Ensuring that all aspects of procurement within the in-direct and raw materials spend are well managed and maintained.
• To effectively manage the procurement team and guide them on selecting the most cost effective and highest quality resources from suppliers.
The role of Procurement Manager will include, but not limited to the following:
• Implement and monitor current purchasing strategies, including volume negotiations, rebate schemes and planning, lead times, and supplier capacity
• Provide strategic guidance to current procurement team
• Implement and review supplier contracts
• Sourcing of products and services (IT related, telecoms, mobile applications)
• Pre-qualifying and on boarding new suppliers
• Managing strategic relationships with current suppliers
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders to fully understand requirements
• Support sales with quotation process while providing procurement expertise, technical advice and guidance in order to achieve savings and improve production speed
• Coordinate production schedules with the sales, operations and production teams
• Oversee entry of POs in the IFS system
• Oversee and cross check LPOs and manage follow ups on receipts of LPOs
• Check product stocks for goods ordered by procurement for artwork quality and data accuracy
• Facilitate smooth and orderly flow of information between purchasing, shipping, sales, production as well as client
The Procurement Manager is responsible for;

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team

• Previous experience within a strategic procurement role (indirect)
• Minimum degree ideally in Business or Procurement / Supply Chain Management (or equivalent)
• Strong Excel and ERP knowledge
• Fluent English (verbal and written)
• Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to delegate and lead a team
• UAE experience is desirable
• Previous experience within a strategic procurement role (indirect)
• Minimum degree ideally in Business or Procurement / Supply Chain Management (or equivalent)
• Strong Excel and ERP knowledge
• Fluent English (verbal and written)
• Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management abilities

As the IT Category Manager, you will play a
critical role in developing category strategies, leading strategic sourcing
activities with respect to overall business strategy in order to achieve
significant cost reductions.
You will be managing all aspects of the hardware, software and telecoms categories including both sourcing and supplier management activities
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to IT senior management and Head of Procurement & SRM as well as advice on procurement strategy aligned to the overall IT strategy.
• Undertaking competitive tendering for IT requirements to demonstrate value for money.
• Ensuring value for money is delivered (savings & cost avoidance) whilst demonstrating full compliance in all 3rd party IT contracts through analysis, planning, negotiation and adherence to the procurement and contracting policies.
• Develop and manage a category strategy and a rolling programme of areas to be addressed
• Track forecasted vs actual benefits (e.g. savings) for the Category and be responsible for communicating performance against these measures and their potential budgetary impact.
• Establish and lead cross-functional teams to manage the development and implementation of the procurement category strategy and agree the strategy with the Head of Procurement and internal customer departments
• Deliver the procurement category strategy including sourcing activities which generate benefits and achieve financial savings targets through insight, benchmarking and analysis of procurement spend, supply markets, internal and external cost drivers and industry standards.
• Identify and recommend best practice procurement tools to develop and implement the sourcing strategies.
• Develop and deploy expertise within a particular area of spend (category) as required to achieve value for money procurement solutions when letting contracts and provide support to departments as required to ensure the organizations best interests are protected and promoted.
• Lead on procurement related negotiations with suppliers to ensure savings are achieved, and value for money and efficiencies are secured

the Middle East are currently looking for a VP of Procurement to develop the
organization’s Central Procurement strategy and to oversee all activities
related to imports, shipments, port & custom clearance & tracking
shipments.
The role;
• Planning Central Purchase activities as per forecasted price trends and their impact on future activities
• Monitoring Weekly / Monthly MIS about market analysis and possible growth
• Direct the development of formal and informal bids, Request for Bid (RFBs), Request for Quote (RFQs), Request for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposal (RFPs); ensure all applicable legal and contractual provisions are met; direct and participate in the solicitation, evaluation and award of bids; conduct pre-bid briefings; perform or assist others in the performance of price/cost analysis; negotiate contract provisions; prepare specifications as required
