We are looking for Security Advisor's with the following
skills and experience.
Job Location: KL, Malaysia
Project Duration: Contract 12+ months (possibilities for Perm)
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
As security advisor of our Global Corporate Security team, you will ensure the day to day physical and organizational security of our people, facilities, events and information in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. You will also elaborate security procedures/controls/policies, within established guidelines and to ensure that they are consistently applied.
Your responsibilities:
Ensure the monitoring of implementation of overall security systems, coordinate projects that includes writing requirements, design, proof of concept, supervision of implementation.
This related to security technologies eg. CCTV, biometrics, explosive detection, bio/chem, intrusion systems etc.
Notify management about security violations and propose solutions to possible security threats.
Identify potential areas where existing security policies/controls and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed including security testing.
Take proactive steps to prevent problems/issues. Organise awareness for staff related to various security topics.
Handle/Investigate sensitive security matters, create security risk analysis, define attack scenarios and propose response procedures.
Maintain knowledge of changing technologies, and provide recommendations for adaptation of technologies or policies.
Organise local Liaison activities with law enforcement to exchange threat information between public and private sector.
Provide security input & support for events or travellers in the APAC region
Education:
University degree in technical area or human science.
Specialized education/certifications in physical and organizational security have the security mind-set.
Experience:
Typically has min. 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
Experience with a government or corporate security agency preferred.
Experience in high level technical physical security measures (CCTV, biometrics) event and personnel security and in conducting investigations.
Experience in conducting risk and vulnerability assessments.
Experience in writing and developing policy.
