Senior Planning Engineer

The Role
My client, an Engineering Consultancy is hiring for a Senior Planning Engineer based in Qatar for a buildings project.

- To perform all the planning/scheduling activities that are required to be conducted for the project, as guided by Project Director.
- Prepare project master programme and review/comment/approve the baseline schedule – prepared and submitted by the contractor, taking into consideration the identification of craft labor /equipment /material /cash requirements by time period.
- Provides assistance to the Project Director for reports on contractor delay in project deliverables and corrective action suggestions.
Requirements
Senior Planning Engineer shall possess a Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Discipline with a minimum of Fifteen (15) years progressive experience in all phases of major engineering and construction Projects with, at least, Eight (8) years’ experience in planning and scheduling of projects.

The candidate shall have excellent communication and writing skills in English, excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills, and handling complaints.

The Role
My client, an Engineering Consultancy are currently hiring for a Commercial Manager based in Qatar to work on a buildings project.

- Responsibilities include but not limited to advising on procurement strategies and methodologies, commercial legislation and risk management, optimizing between cost and risk.
- Leads commercial negotiations, contributes to the preparation and management of Life Time Plan and Make/Buy process. - - Supports the Contract Administrator in facilitating positive relationships and maximizing satisfaction with the employer’s organization, internal customers and suppliers. Also supports the commercial governance process, carrying out peer reviews of performance and compliance at site or company level, recording and sharing the learning including identifying the training needs, supporting and managing the commercial management staff.
Requirements
The Commercial Manager shall be a full member of a Chartered institute such as R.I.C.S, C.I.O.B or A.I.Q.S or similar Quantity Surveying recognized institution and minimum Fifteen (15) years’ experience in the Quantity Surveying Field.

The Role
Ignite Selection require a Business Development Manager for a leading EPC with over 1500 employees.

You will report to the Vice president and be responsible for identifying and delivering new business opportunities via various methods including acquisitions/Joint ventures and partnerships. You will also be responsible for building relationships with existing clients

Duties include:
- Develops the Business Development function’s strategic goals, business plans, budgets and resources in coordination with the VP.
- Develops adequate policies and processes for the Business Development function to maintain efficient operational excellence.
- Works towards achieving the Business Development function’s strategic goals and reports progress to executive management.
- Identifies new projects, including new geographies, and ensures that newly identified opportunities are in line with risk management and strategies.
- Identifies and establishes new clients for potential business opportunities and maintains strong and close relationships with existing clients.
- Coordinates with Estimating & Bidding function in proposal preparation and submission.
- Provides input and analysis to ensure competitiveness of services to assist in achieving the anticipated growth targets for
