Qatarisation Coordinator

The Role 
The Qatarisation Coordinator role exists to actively support the Qatarisation team in integrating the principles of Nationalisation throughout the Qatar Rail contract, and the region.  The job holder will be responsible for coordinating initiatives aimed at Nationalisation.  Structure and reporting relationship: This role sits within HR Team reporting to Qatarisation Manager  Key accountabilities  Communication: • Work with Senior Qatarisation Advisor to coordinate programmes to enable achievement of Qatarisation initiatives and targets. • Promote Qatarisation across the organisation, as per the Qatarisation Strategy and Plan. Support Line Managers with doing the same. • Coordinate communication activities for Nationalisation Strategy and Roadmap • Be responsible for coordinating engagement activities as per the Qatarisation engagement plan in the region including but not limited to Discovery Centres, networks with Schools, Colleges and Universities, local partners to bring our Nationalisation programmes to life and to develop local sources of talent to feed the talent pools. • Coordinate in events and workshops related to Nationalisation, including but not limited to leading Nationalisation employment career fairs, discovery days, recruitment road shows. • Advocate and promote Nationalisation initiatives concepts across the business • Coordinate activities for the team in relation to developing, maintaining and growing network of contacts in the region to ensure we are best in class in relation to Nationalisation activities • Coordinate and arrange departmental meetings.  Event Management and Travel: • Coordinate Qatarisation events for activities such as including but not limited to hotel, conference bookings, travel arrangements, workshops, discovery centres. • Support Qatarisation team with travel and accommodation arrangements as required.  Reporting and metrics: • Coordinate information and data to enable effective and timely reporting, and be responsible for creating these reports as per the agreed schedule • Maintain an active database on Nationalisation for the contract • Support the Qatarisation Manager in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports on Nationalisation, objective achievement, issues • Support the Qatarisation Manager in monitoring of the Nationalisation Budget to ensure effective utilization  Continuous improvement: • Identify, propose and implement process / procedure improvements and innovations in relation to recruiting, retaining, and recognizing Nationals • Support in the development of appropriate strategies and procedures for the National Development program • Support the identification of the training and development needs for National employees 
Requirements

They help businesses understand and evaluate the broader value impacts and outcomes associated with their organizations, operations, programs and projects. Our team helps clients improve and report on their sustainability performance.
