Senior Marketing & Sales Representative

The Role
The Global Marketing team has an outstanding opportunity to increase international sales with a position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Global Marketing (GM) Representative - UAE will have responsibility for working GM initiatives in support of the BDS LRBP across multiple product lines for the UAE and in the greater Middle East region as directed.

This position will report to and support the local Executive Director and the Vice President of Global Marketing with in-country business, resource and budgeting planning, strategy development, marketing, developing and maintaining of customer relationships.
• The incumbent will assume a critical role with competitive analysis, identification of new opportunities for growth, communications planning, and resource allocation. This includes providing expertise and insight to local Military and Ministry of Defense organizations and local industry including needs assessments as requested.
• The position also requires the incumbent to represent Boeing to the defense cooperation and commercial organizations within the U.S. Embassy, in public forums and a wide array of diverse industry and UAE/USG government activities.
• This key position will partner with local, US based, and other Boeing (and Boeing subsidiary) personnel to provide recommendations on productive and quality customer engagement and local support for all BDS initiatives.

The selected candidate must be able to build and maintain relationships, work directly with the local sales teams to develop and execute the BDS strategy as well as work in partnership with BDS programs and their International marketing/sales activities. This will also include dedicated support for major campaigns and collaborate with BDS Communications, Boeing International, Boeing Washington DC International Operations, and BCA to present a One Boeing image in the region. Current US Government Security Clearance is highly desired.

Qualifications

Typical Education and Experience

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Basic Qualifications (Required)
• Experience with complex competitive international military sales campaigns including US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS).
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance post hire.

Preferred
• A current Government Security Clearance.
• Work related experience networking within Boeing for reach back activities across multiple BDS businesses and functional areas.
• Experience in a role which operates in a multicultural environment with demonstrated ability to adapt and develop relationships.

We are recruiting a talented local hire individual, to provide Field Service Technical Representative support to the Qatari Emiri Air Force customer by utilizing multi-disciplined technical expertise and C-17 aircraft systems knowledge to assist the customer to achieve/sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of this aircraft and by investigating technical problems, determining causes, developing and implementing corrective actions.

• Candidate is expected to initiate Field Service Reports, acts as the on-site liaison between the company and customer personnel of varying backgrounds to gain resolution of significant technical and operational issues.
• Works for extended periods of time in a wide variety of cultural/economic environments.
• Proven experience in C-17 avionics and flight controls, electrical/ electronics analysis and troubleshooting, and aircraft systems.
• Proven and accepted track record within Field Engineering and Technical Support areas and familiar with its processes and procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of the C-17 Technical Order reference, and knowledge of Engineering Disposition/Request for Engineering Disposition Instructions process.
• Demonstrated leadership skills. Willing to work any shift. DoD security clearance is a plus.
• Diversity skills and ability to excel in non-English work environment are required. Position is subject to contract award, and requires relocation to Qatar.

The Boeing Company is seeking a Software Engineer (Level 1) to join our Decision Support Center located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

As a Software Engineer (Level 1) you will execute Software Engineering and technical activities at the Decision Support Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Decision Support Center is a decision support capability, with the purpose of enhancing the environment for winning new business and keeping sold existing programs through delivery of Operations Analysis and Customer Engagement services to Boeing Defense Space and Security - Saudi Arabia. The DSC is a component of Boeing Defense Space and Security’s Phantom Works – International (PW-I).

This is a Software Engineer role. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Software Engineering activates (Planning, Requirements analysis, Design, Coding, Unit testing and Integration testing).
- The production of documentation, technical notes and training materials.
- Software quality activities (e.g. peer reviews, walkthroughs, maintaining a Software Development File).
- Product support, including customer liaison to expedite problem resolution.
- Software Configuration Management activities.
- Liaison with 3rd parties (vendors, subcontractors, customers).
- Demonstrations, Presentations and walkthroughs.

Key Relationships:
- You will report to the Decision Support Center Senior Manager.
- You will work under the supervision of the Technical Lead.
- You will work closely with the relevant KACST employees at the Decision Support Center to maintain this successful partnership.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science/Engineering is Preferred.
- Strong knowledge in Object Oriented programming languages (C++, C#).
- Experience with software engineering design principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrable experience in the design, development, test and release of software systems.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills (Arabic and English).
