Senior Manager - Cyber Security

EY is seeking the an experienced Cyber Incident Response (IR) Manager and leader who wants to join an elite team, as part of the EY MENA practice. This position will be responsible to grow EY’s strong IR practice along with our world leading fraud and investigation team to service our client’s most strategic and immediate needs. They will work closely with the regional Cyber leadership to champion the IR service within the Cyber practice and leverage EY’s unique global network to drive innovation. In addition, they will also develop a close working relationship with the EY Security Operations Centres (SOC) to provide major incident response services along with other subject matter experts including OT and IoT specialists, IAM, Cyber Analytics, and Threat Intelligence teams in MENA, EMEIA and Globally.



The Cyber IR Manager is a critical customer facing role that requires the instinctive ability to recognize gaps in customer capabilities and to translate them into business requirements and an execution strategy in a clear and concise manner. The Cyber IR Manager will also play key role in introduction of new IR services /solutions in EY portfolio in terms of integration and deployment.



Key Responsibilities:



•Review, update and design EY Cyber IR services that go compliment other EY services to provide value to our clients.


•Leadership of the technical teams and other IR team members to deliver successful EY Cyber IR services


•Key presenter and thought leadership at events, industry representation, white papers and clients along with other key EY executives and management.


•Liaise with the customer Cyber, security, Risk and responder teams in finalizing the Cyber services and take them into implementation


•Work with delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of IR projects.


•Proposing and leading improvements to of EY Cyber IR services in line with dynamic regional and global cyber risk profiles and the global network.


•Raise and resolve any IR risks that could have implications against the cyber security strategy of clients


•Key Cyber IR advisor to the EY Cyber MENA Partner and regional steering committees.


•Champion the governance, documentation and knowledge management of Cyber IR technical and procedure artefacts for continuous improvement.
To qualify, candidates must have:



A real passion for Cybersecurity, who can articulate complex technical problems and solutions to “C level”, with a focused state of mind to understand how IR is a key part of Cyber and can support to protect enterprise from the threats they face. We are looking for a Cyber IR Manager with capability and experience in the following areas:

Qualifications & Experience:



•Must have an Bachelor degree in Computer, Information Systems or Engineering related field preferred


•6+ years of working experience in Enterprise Cyber Incident Response


•Strong knowledge / qualification of various cyber forensics tools


•Ability to explain business risk and the correlation with Cyber IR


•In depth Desktop OS and Server OS knowledge


•Strong networking and application knowledge


•Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Transaction Tax Assistant Manager

As a Transaction Tax Senior, you'll join an integrated global network of talented advisors working in a dynamic, fast-moving and commercially-driven environment. In your role, you'll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships and identify and escalate opportunities for Ernst & Young on existing engagements. You'll make a technical contribution to projects and deliver work of a high standard that complies with our Quality & Risk Management guidelines. 

As part of an engagement team, you'll help clients understand and address the tax implications of the transactions that are strategically important to them - acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, restructurings or initial public offerings. You'll also be actively involved in the development of ideas to help clients mitigate transaction risk, enhance opportunity and negotiate effectively.

Client responsibilities
- Participate in Transaction Tax engagements focusing on tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA and tax model review etc.

- Collaborate with a team of Transaction Tax professionals to combine diverse cross-border transaction experience with local tax knowledge across a broad spectrum of industries

The MENA Experience Management team has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Management Resourcing Associate join the Advisory team, one of four Service Lines within our structure at EY. 

The Experience Management Team is at the front line of the business dealing with multiple stakeholders to translate the needs of engagement leaders, staffing the firm’s client facing and project work with the appropriate team. Key drivers in the decision making process are the commercials of an engagement, skills required and development of our people. Owing to the varied nature of the role, core strengths lie within a ‘softer’ skills set orientated towards conversations, impact and negotiation. At the same time knowledge of the firm’s financial drivers, engagement economics and operational excellence enhance the ability to make insightful, timely decisions which balance occasionally conflicting demands. 

This position will be based in Abu Dhabi. 

Purpose:

To work as part of the Experience Management team to match resource supply with demand, and consequently drive optimum utilisation across the business.


Responsibilities - Overseeing staffing and operations for competency groups: 

•Work with MENA Experience Management team leads to improve resourcing function to shift focus from regional/ geographical localities to a competency framework.

•Help develop the function, its offerings, reports and quality of service to provide a best in class, business partner solution to the business 

•Add value by understanding back-log, pipeline, demand planning, constraints (local holidays, annual leave, L&D) and skills gaps by providing commercial, timely and practical solutions.

•Proactive liaison with all stakeholders including Competency and Sector leads to ensure their engagement, support and advocacy with resourcing and its focus.

•Regularly meet stakeholders, partners, directors and managers - to understand client requirements and the wider needs of the business and facilitate effective pro-active resourcing

•Challenge poor behaviours whilst ensuring individual remains engaged with resourcing

•Understand the performance and commercial results of business areas and influence through strategic resourcing. Proactively make decisions on conflicting demands (e.g. which might lead to swapping people around in existing jobs), liaising with senior stakeholders and other members of the team (Resource Coordinators, Senior RM) as required

•Review activity levels of new joiners to ensure optimal utilisation as efficiently as possible sharing issues and potential solutions with HR and Recruitment as needed.

•Proactive and early Involvement in recruitment decisions. Provide feedback and input in recruitment plans providing business context and/or challenge as needed
•Oversee job allocation and acquire knowledge of individual skills, experiences and personal / professional aspirations ensuring this is applied to resourcing decisions. 

•Understand and anticipate future projects and their needs through attendance at pipeline meetings, ABD updates and “Interaction” – including visibility of clients strategically important to the local office

•Deliver against resourcing KPIs in a pragmatic approach ensuring broader indicators are met whilst flexing where needed to reflect different situations.

•Contribution to MENA Advisory achieving budgeted utilisation

•Requests are actioned and resources proposed within 5 days

•Actual vs. forecast variances in E2C are minimised (within x%)

•Escalate Missing Timesheets as appropriate

•Monitor and report staff CVs are continuously updated 

•Monitor time charging to ensure codes opened in a timely manner

•Manage resource Senior Consultant and central teams’ service quality to deliver on agreed resourcing plans for business area and ensure out-put is value-add and of appropriate quality. Advocate MENA Advisory resourcing strategy to ensure the team engage and contribute to its success.

•Ensure all work produced by team is of the requisite standard and in line with resourcing strategy before it is submitted to Head of MENA Experience Management team and/or stakeholders
