Due to a recent project win we are currently looking to add a high calibre HSE officer to our team in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
* Implement, monitor and review the HSE Plan on site,
* Report monthly to Project Management on HSE Performance,
* Provide expert advice to Project Management, Engineers, etc,
* Conduct HSE Site Induction and provide safe methods of work when required,
* Hold Safety Briefings & HSE meetings,
* Monitor the work sites for unsafe practices and behaviours,
* Check observance of the permit to work systems as required,
* Conduct and take part in incident investigation,
* Provide advice and expertise on (PPE) and safety equipment,
* Participate in internal HSE reviews and HSE site inspections and Audits,
* Participate in risk evaluation and risk reduction,
* Monitor compliance with occupational health standards and welfare arrangements

Candidates should ideally
have previously worked on other DEWA projects in a similar capacity as HSE
officer / engineer. You should have relevant experience of working on major
transmission projects (132kV/220kV systems) involving supervision, inspection,
erection of substations, buildings, cable trenches, steel structures and
covering all aspects of procedures, method statements, HSE plans and safety
rules.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree,
- DEWA Approval,
- Registered and Approved with EHS "Trakhees".
- NEBOSH International General Certificate/ International Construction certificate, -Thorough knowledge of HSE Plan and Emergency Fire Fighting and First Aid Training

The power, process & nuclear division works within four main sectors which include the following: - nuclear, defence, industry and process and power civil's.
We are actively seeking a senior instrument and control (I&C) engineer (construction) to work onsite near Abu Dhabi. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work within a specialist nuclear organisation.
Duties:
* To plan and execute engineering activities to ensure the adequate design, construction , installation and commissioning of a nuclear power plant
* Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the I&C department in order to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and effective manner
* Advise management on issues affecting the project in order to take necessary actions as required
* Review and provide comments for assigned actions/activities regarding documentation for the I&C system design
* Conduct primary technical reviews on assigned PC design deliverables related to I&C equipment /systems designs and relevant technical specification, and procurement/tendering packages so they comply with PC requirements, project schedule and UAE laws & regulations
* Monitor the contractor as necessary to ensure expectations ate met in the assigned aspect of I & C systems and equipment during the design, construction, installation and commissioning
* Review vendor documentations with respect to I&C equipment & materials to ensure compliance with the contractor requirements
* Conduct primary technical reviews of processes and procedures in order to ensure approvals where relevant and to prepare technical reports on findings
* Evaluate and advise on I&C related design changes and non-conformances to ensure fulfilment of requirements
* Ensure the development of required documentation of required documentation for the review process in order to include comments, recommendations and corrective actions plans
* Liaise with materials and quality surveillance departments to ensure that the assigned I &C equipment installation activities are performed in accordance with the engineering design requirements
