Our client is looking
for an Engineer to join the Supervision Subsystem of a Multinational
Defense Company. This position will be for a 6 months contract which may
extend dependent on performance.
Responsibilities
Maintain the Engineering baseline:
- Create / update the SRS (Subsystem Requirements Specification).
- The SRS shall cover all requirements, including interfaces to other subsystems or requirements from other project stakeholders.
- Create / update engineering documentation (Detailed Design, Interface Specification, Integration Plan, Test Plan, Test Procedures, Test Report, etc.) to incorporate the additional services that will delivered by each Iteration.
- Review and take necessary actions to address NC’s (Non Conformities) in a timely manner
- Create / complete CR (Change Requests)
- Update and maintain the Subsystem BoM (Bill of Material) and provide ‘As Built’ information as and when each site is deployed
- Lead and/or support engineering reviews (Critical Design Review (CDR), Subsystem Verification
- Review (SVR) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)) Present technical solutions (and/or alternatives) to the End Customer for their approval
Subcontract management:
Manage the subcontract engineering resource(s) to deliver in accordance with the agreed time, cost and quality constraints
- Review and approve supplier documentation and proposed solutions for NC / CR
Liaise with all stakeholders to monitor the status of internal dependencies and adjust the planning accordingly to ensure the planned supervision activities are completed as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
Operational support:
- Prepare monthly reports on the operational Supervision system and provide these to the Senior Engineering Management in a timely manner
- Provide support to the ILS team to resolve operational issues as and when required
