Our client is seeking a Legacy senior Manager to
join their team in Qatar for a 6 month contract with the option to extend.
The Legacy department is currently interested in procuring a secondment consultant to work on various key legacy projects including but not limited to the Challenge 22 project and legacy work on precinct developments.
The detailed scope of services for this assignment is set out below:
• Coordinate the delivery of Challenge 22 deliverables
• Communicate to internal and external stakeholder enquiries based on information received from the Challenge 22 Programme team.
• Consistent and effective communication with key Partners to ensure local and regional engagement.
• Assist with the Programme administration, application screening and evaluation process.
• Partner and liaise with country hosts for regional activation.
• Facilitate planning the final event in coordination with partners, including agenda setting and event format.
• Provide guidance and support to the operational team during project implementation.
• Project management, reporting and risk assessment.
• Supports the Senior Manager in the implementation of strategic initiatives with direct Human and Social Legacy impact.
• Support in administering and managing Human and Social Legacy team input into relevant Operational Plan activities (with roles varying from accountable, consulted to project execution).
• Supports the Manager in embedding best practice globally to help the SC optimise the opportunities presented from lessons learned elsewhere.
• Work closely with Communications & Marketing to promote regular external communications on Human and Social Legacy.
• Work closely with the Technical Programme Delivery team to develop and incorporate Human and Social Legacy requirements into competition and non-competition venues, as well as supporting infrastructure.
• Supports the Senior Manager in managing Human and Social Legacy stakeholder engagement and influence, particularly through the Legacy Committee but also other stakeholders.
• The consultant is required to perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
• Responsible to fulfilling the assigned responsibilities:
o to a high standard of quality and timeliness
o in full compliance with the SC’s Quality Policy and the Safety and Security rules and requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or
related discipline
• Minimum 5 – 7 years of relevant experience
• Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment and experience of engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders preferably in legacy projects / programmes
• Proven track record of stakeholder management and track record of success working with a range of stakeholders.
• It is essential that he/she is an Arabic speaker who has relevant experience either in entrepreneurship or an educational research institution.
• The secondee should also have a working knowledge of Qatar governmental entities and the business environment in the region.
• Minimum 5 – 7 years of relevant experience
